Lily Soucy is one of those young, talented artists whose curiosity seems to effortlessly give birth to some new sub-category of art. Her love of music and free-hand illustrating merged when she started doodeling on one of her second hand guitars after a session of strumming. The end result was the first of many beautifully illustrated musical instruments. To date, she has illustrated 13 folk guitars, two electric guitars and one upright piano. She posted images of the guitars on her portfolio site (along with other artwork) and she soon picked up a cult following. Her work was noticed by rock musician Joe Blow who asked her
